As a collective, we are all experiencing this pandemic as one, but perhaps in our own separate way. It has affected us each differently. We were accustomed to going about our own schedules, going here and there, living our daily lives the way we wanted. Doing what made us happy or perhaps even, not so happy. When we are told to stop, stay home, to stay away from others, and to just sit tight for a short time until we can come out of this on the other side, why was it so hard for us to just sit and be?
We sometimes forget how much freedom we have and how easily it can be taken from us. This period in time is not by accident. Sometimes Divine has to step in to help us focus back on what is and should be important in our lives. We were forced to be at home and to let go. To analyze what was no longer working and allow for the healing to take place, especially our own. A time for us to sit and actually look at where our lives were headed.
Many took up exercise, started a yoga practice or perhaps we learned how to quiet down the noise around us in meditation. This allowed us to give focus to our thoughts which perhaps contained emotions or memories that we haven’t had time to deal with in our busyness. Perhaps we had time to evaluate relationships we needed to analyze. Why were we still holding onto certain relationships that possibly should have ended? Were we in these relationships because we felt we were obligated to be in them, or could we say that, indeed, they each brought joy to our heart when in fact, they didn’t?
We also had a chance to share with others our gifts of music, poetry, or philosophies, as so many people went online to express and to connect. What an opportunity it was to give of ourselves without expecting anything in return. We were able to witness the loving heart of the collective.
It was also time to think about why we were not moving ahead with projects or opportunities we have been wanting to start, or moving ahead with a new business idea, writing that book, or perhaps a change in jobs or careers.
Saturday, August 8 (8/8) is the annual peak of the Lion’s Gate, a portal that occurs during Leo season and allows for us to make the changes in our lives that perhaps we have put off and were able to recognize during our time of quietness during lockdown. The Lion’s Gate is already open, and it is a great time to move forward with those things we had been putting off, or even evaluate relationships that are no longer working. Divine sometimes has to stop us in our tracks to make us recognize that our life is out of alignment, than gives us an opening to bring it back into proper positioning. Think about the changes you would like to make to your life and use this time during Lion’s Gate to make those dreams a reality. When Divine offers us a gift, make sure you use that gift for your highest good.
Peace and blessings…
